The first of the BRAND NEW model from Channel Islands, the ‘Black Flag Whip’ has arrived this afternoon. This is the board of choice for one of the world’s best surfers, Kelly Slater. It’s been a work in progress for some time now, and it’s finally ready for you to ride! This board looks a little different from your average shortboard. It features a ‘concave’ deck which gives the board a ‘worn in’ feel, but also allows you to ride it a touch thinner because it holds volume through the rails. It also has Carbon strips alongside the stringer on the bottom side of the board to give it uni-directional flex patterns. It can be ridden as either a quad or a thruster and has 4x4x4 glassing.
